It isn't always easy to see - but when it's visible, one distinguishing feature is the speed at which it zips along. Or, at least, that's usually the case. Right now, it's hardly moving at all. That's what happens when it's just beginning a phase of retrograde motion. Or when, like now, it's just ending one.
